You're listening to Podcasting Made Simple. Hi there. My name is Deidre Shen and I'm the CEO and co-founder of CapShow, the fastest way to create content design to get you leads for your business. Now, when Alex asked me to join him on this quarter's PMS Live, I knew I needed to talk to you about something that you can implement straight away and get immediate results. Who's up for that? And that's why I'm going to show you the three Facebook posts, only three, that will grow your list, get you more engagement on Facebook, and get you more leads all at the same time. Okay? So who is this session for? You're an entrepreneur, i.e. you own a business, and you're guesting on podcasts to share your expertise and message with the world. You've been struggling with how to leverage Facebook to actually get more potential leads and clients, and you want to do this without spending all of your time on social media. Sounds kind impossible, doesn't it? But if that's you, then you're in the right place. Okay. I'm to help you create just three Facebook posts a week, if you want to do it each week, that if you have the right audience following you and you know the problems and solutions that they're looking for, then you will be able to, guaranteed, get more engagement on social media, which the algorithms love. You'll be able to build your email list if that's what you want, and you can get more leads for your business just in three posts. And based only of content you're already creating, right? That is the podcast guest episodes that you're doing, these interviews you're already doing. And let me tell you, these three posts work. We've had cap showbians like Alyssa Murphy, who help people leave their corporate jobs for entrepreneurship. She started implementing this strategy and now she can't even keep up with the number of DMs that she's getting as a result of these posts. Jenna from Group Track CRM has literally built a million dollar business off the back of this strategy. And we personally do these posts in our Facebook group and it is so effective at helping us start conversations with potential capture users. That is leads. So yes, these are three very, very effective posts. So let me know who's excited and up for learning about these posts. Awesome. Okay, and I'll tell you what, at the end of this presentation as well, I'll also give you a couple of bonus optimization hacks so that you can get guaranteed results on this. So let's get into what I call the three say me. posts, say me two different words, say me. And I call that because the whole aim with these posts is to get people raising their hands and saying me. And how I you to think about this is that we are giving people an opportunity to self identify themselves as a potential lead and client of yours. So you don't have to show up on Facebook and try to guess at who might be interested in what it is that you do. You're going to create posts that will call your ideal clients forward and have them tell you. So there are five steps to implementing this strategy, all based on just the one guest interview you've already done. So let's get into step number one. Step number one is to create your lead magnet. Yes. That sounded like we took a bit of a hard turn. But I promise you that there's a reason why this is the first step. We are going to use a lead magnet to hook people in and not your actual guest podcast interview yet. Okay. Because we're going to be honest here. Okay. Who has ever, ever seen someone talk about a new episode that they were on going live and you felt the need to leave the platform they are on, i.e. Facebook, to listen to a 15, 30, 60 minute episode. Right. Like no one goes to social media, especially Facebook. to listen to a podcast. So trying to promote your interview like this is, it's frankly just not going to work. But what do people want on social media? For anyone who is dealing with a problem right now, which is all of us, they're looking for a quick fix, a quick, painless solution to their problem. And that is where your lead magnet comes in, because lead magnets are exactly that. We all see lead magnets as quick. painless solutions to our problems, right? But what we actually know is that a lead magnet is just the tip of the iceberg. What people really need is to get the whole context, the mindset shifts, the training, i.e. to listen to your interview to get the result that they're looking for. So we're going to kind of quote unquote sell them on what it is that they want that is a lead magnet, but we're going to give them what they need. that is your podcast interview episode. And we're to do that by promoting the lead magnet. And when people raise their hand to get it, right, they say me, we're going to use that as our trigger to start a conversation. And starting that conversation means giving them the lead magnet because we always want to fulfill what it is that we promise. Okay, so that means that you're building your list as well, but it also means uncovering more of their needs and inviting them to listen to the episode. to get an even deeper solution to their problems and their questions. Okay, so that is the first step. Step number one, which is creating your interview's lead magnet. Step number two is then to create and publish your first say me post on Facebook. Remember I said that there are three say me posts, okay? This is the first one. And the purpose of this first say me post is to have people raise their hands for your lead magnet and ultimately to listen to your interview. This post is super simple. And on Facebook, it's literally just one of those one line posts on a colored background. Okay, that's all it is. And what we want to say is something to the effect of working on a checklist that insert problem, X, Z, you know, solution, who wants it? Or I discovered the exact three steps to result, result, result, right? Who's interested? Okay. You can tell from the way that these one line is created is that it's designed for people to say me, right? Who's interested? Me. Who wants it? Me. All you're doing here is honing in on the acute symptom or problem that your lead magnet is going to help people with. And what you're offering them is a quick fix solution that they think they want. If you have the right audience following you, then OMG, this is going to get you a ton of engagement on social media, which means that more of your posts will be put in front of more of your audience. Right? That's how the algorithms work. So for example, I recently did a post in my Facebook group and it said, I just did a roundup of 10 social media posts that get your audience to self identify as leads. Who wants a copy? And that same post got 71 comments. That's 71 potential leads. And so with that engagement, you want to be leading people into the DMs, like I've already mentioned, so you can build your list by providing the checklist lead magnet and further the conversation with them to see if they would be a potential. client. Okay, so that is step number two. Okay, that is the first say me post. Now step number three is the second Facebook post and I call this the why post. And this post is all about why people need your lead magnet. Okay, what pain or problem is going, is it going to help them with? What solution does it provide? This is the post that outlines the benefit or results that people will ultimately get from implementing your checklist lead magnet. It bridges from the first same post where you called out the problem, right? You were like, here's a problem that you might have, right? Who wants a solution for it? You call that out and this post is now going to talk about the benefit of what it is that you're providing. Does that make sense? Okay, and it's the same process after this post goes live, right? You look at anyone who's commenting or engaging on this post and you lead them into the DMs where you'll provide them the lead magnet, right? Cause you want to, again, fulfill on what you promised. And then you want to have a conversation with them to uncover their needs, including if it makes sense to have them listen to your interview or maybe pop in a call or sign up for a course, whatever it is that, wherever it makes sense based on what it is that they're looking for. They draft the first same name post, they draft the Y post already for you in addition to the lead magnet. So all of this you can actually implement really, really quickly and really simply. So that's step number three. Step number three is the Y post. Step number four, this is now the third post Facebook post in the same strategy. Okay, and I call it the BTS post, ie behind the scenes. And this one is more of a community driven human to human post. It will showcase you behind the scenes working on your lead magnet or preparing for a guest interview, right? It could, it could also be a case study on one of your clients getting results from following the strategy in the lead magnet, or it could be an example of you implementing the strategy or examples or results. that your community, your clients have gotten from implementing what you'll be sharing. Essentially, this is when you're bringing the concepts in your lead magnet, and by extension, the concepts that you've spoken about in the interview, to life. Does that make sense? It makes it more human. So the BTS post, it is the third post that you do for Facebook. It's the fourth step of this strategy. So let's talk about the last step now. This is step number five. Step number five is something that I've mentioned multiple times already. But I wanted to mention again, as his own step, because this is so important that you do this if you want to actually get results from social media. So with all the engagement that you've been getting on these posts, whether they're likes, loves, and importantly comments, you want to invite all of them into a DM conversation. And there are a few reasons for this. One is this is actually how you're going to start to use social media to build your list, right? And this is important for your business so you can actually go from rented land, i.e. social media, to land at your own, i.e. your email list. So when people raise their hands and say, me, for your lead magnet, this is 100 % permission to get them to your landing page. Give them your landing page link where they'll go sign up for it. Okay? So you're building a list. Number two, why the second reason that you want these DM conversations is so you can have a genuine conversation with them around what it is that they're actually looking for. What current problems are they facing and what results are they actually seeking? Okay, this is going to help you and them work out, you know, whether you have something that you can help them with, like whether it makes sense for you to help them with that. And number three, if nothing else, okay, if nothing else, leading them to listen to your guest interview will continue to deepen their know, like and trust. And by the way, your host will also love the fact that you're sending people to listen to the episode too. So this strategy is truly a win all around. Okay, so I know I went through that really, really quickly. So to recap, here are the five steps to growing your list, your social media engagement, and getting your leads all at the same time with just three Facebook posts based on the guest interview that you're already doing. Step number one, create your checklist lead magnet based on the content of your interview. Number two, create and publish your say me post. Number three, create and publish your why post and create and publish your BTS post. And step number five is to lead everyone who engages in comments on these posts, i.e. they say me, right into the DMs to further uncover their needs and see if you can help them get the result that they're looking for. So as I mentioned, there are six and seven figure businesses built off a simple strategy like this. Now, can this work for everyone here today? Yes, it 100 % can. But will it? Nope. And I'll tell you why. It's always one of two things. The first is audience. A lot of us do not have the right audience following us. Raise your hand if you don't have the right audience following you on Facebook. And if you don't have the right audience following you, then it doesn't matter what you post about. Your business, whether it's about your business or about the problems that you help solve or the results that you help people get. you will never get engagement on your posts except from your really supportive friends and family. And even then, their support after a while will totally fizzle out. If you want to build the right audience, you have to actively find them. You have to actively find them, whether that's through the search function on Facebook, through the hashtags, in groups that you know they're in, and you need to start to make yourself visible to them. Okay? Genuinely engage on their content. Or if you meet them at an in-person event, then invite them to connect with you on social media. you have to build the right audience in order for any social media strategy to work. Now, if you do have the right audience, the second roadblock we might encounter is our messaging. I mentioned before that I did a samey post in our Facebook group, which got 71 comments. Amazing, right? I feel like this would be my new baseline. The week after I did another samey post and guess how many comments I got on that one? Zero. Yep. A big fat goose egg. And now I know 100 % that I have the right audience in there because it's a very specific Facebook group. But the message I had, the problem that I was looking to solve that week, it was not the right one. And that's okay. All of this is test and learn. Okay. And at least that told me it's actually not something my audience cares about. So I can park that for, you know, next time and I can try something else. So if you're finding that you're not getting any engagement on social media, always look at these two things. Okay. Audience and messaging. Okay. Thanks so much for tuning in.
